NO MORE slippery wooden decking with No Skidding® Safe-Deck ‘breathable’ anti-slip coating for wood.

Wood as a natural product holds moisture which overtime will evaporate. If a traditional style paint coating is used on an external wooden surface, it will seal the wood. This will block the evaporation of moisture from the wood for a period of time, but eventually the water vapour will work its way between the coating and the wood and ‘pop it off’ the surface.

SAFE-DECK is an acrylic system containing no oils allowing water vapour to evaporate but not allowing water through to the wood. This product has been developed and proven for 20 years on new and painted surfaces.

SAFE-DECK is a semi-industrial, hard wearing coating system that has been especially formulated to be used on sundecks, balconies, boat decks, steps, bridges etc.

SAFE-DECK is easy to apply and dries in 3 to 5 hours between coats depending on atmospheric and temperature conditions. A deck coated with SAFE-DECK can be used the next day if the drying conditions are correct (accepting a few days cure will be required for heavy objects).

Its flexibility is one of its many outstanding features and it can also be applied over stain, paint, neoprene-hypalon types, canvas, fibreglass etc.
