WH Smith recognised the value of using No Skidding products to make the store floors safer for their customers. WH Smith had identified a number of its UK Stores as having potential slip issues in their entrances in wet conditions.

Contract Maintenance Group (CMG - one of HANDLs distributors) was asked to survey the sites and suggest the most suitable No Skidding product for the job given the different floor finishes. It was also important to determine the level of treatment and time required minimizing any potential disruption. No Skidding Anti-Slip Treatment was selected as the most appropriate solution because of its quick and simple application and excellent results.

Four stores were initially selected with entrances featuring a variety of finishes ranging from ceramic tile to terrazzo. CMG carried out the work during normal trading hours, causing no inconvenience to staff or customers, with the store managers being consulted throughout the whole process.
